17 CBD dossiers of natural origin are currently under study by EFSA. The Spectrums applications are the only ones filed by a French company and concern natural extracts of Cannabis sativa L.

At the same time, and following the Brexit, Spectrums Europe has initiated a similar process with the FSA in the United Kingdom. The FSA has authorized all the brands that have been selling CBD products before February 13, 2020 to remain on the UK market, provided a novel food application has been filed before the end of March 2021. 61 brands and 553 products are currently related to Spectrums Europe’s applications.  3 of these brands are drinks brands, 1 of which is Botanic Lab.
